West Midlands Lupus Group AGM Open Meeting, Sunday, 19th April 2009

Following the business of the AGM, around 50 people heard Kate Peers, LUPUS UK Specialist Nurse (above), speak about “10 Facts on Lupus”. Kate was followed by

Dr. Josja Eggen, Clinical Psychologist (below) and Lupus patient who spoke about “Adjustment and Coping with Long Term Illness”.

During her Talk, Dr. Eggen suggested members split into small groups to discuss the effects Lupus has on them and their partners/families.

From the photograph, we can see that this exercise was well received.
