West Midlands Lupus Group Open Meeting, Sunday, 9th April 2006.

The Open Meeting was attended by Members and Friends who heard Dr. Dimitrios Daousis speak about Lupus, its diagnosis and treatment.

Veronica Toescu, LUPUS UK Research Assistant, and Kate Peers, LUPUS UK Specialist Nurse, spoke about their work at the Queen Elizabeth/City Hospitals, Birmingham.

The Speakers were then joined by Gareth Treharne, Research Psychologist, and Peter Norton, Treasurer WMLG, for “Ask the Panel” which was chaired by Yvonne Norton.

Several questions were put by Members to the Panel and all were given a full response.
